Job Description

Job Summary



Receive, store, and issue merchandise, materials, equipment, and other items from stockroom, warehouse, or storage yard to full fill the material requisition orders.

Duties (Authority)



- Ensure the material is released out from store with proper requisition from concerned dept heads

- Maintain the stock as per the limits specified by the management

Duties (Responsibility)



- Maintain proper document recording and data entry in ERP.

- Perform the periodical physical inventory, day to day stock record and control of material.

- Responsible for material reciept received from vendor, material inspection as per invoice.

- Responsible for store keeping, documentation & record keeping.

- Prepare & submit daily / monthly inventory reports to the Line Manager.

- Maintain goods delivery schedule according to delivery order qty.

- Monitor stock levels and identify purchasing needs. Track orders and ensure timely delivery. Update internal databases and ERP with order details (dates, vendors, quantities, discounts).

- Maintain updated records of invoices and contracts. Follow up with suppliers, as needed, to confirm or change orders.

- Maintain accurate records and physical stock .

- To maintain computerized administration and whereabouts of each goods and focus on inventory levels.

- Maintaining the stock of material without any variance by conducting stock verification and documentation

- Create purchase order in ERP and follow up for material till it reaches the facility.

- Place order for machines, tools, and equipment as per business demands

- Inspect deliveries for damage or discrepancies; report those to accounting for reimbursements and record keeping

- Ensure the store is always clean and not jam-packed. Ensure proper stacking of goods in store.

- Managing records and receipts in ERP and physically

- Ensure raw materials/tools/consumables/PPE's/inserts/machine spare parts etc. are available in adequate stock as not to hamper production

- Advise right mode of transportation of goods for purchasing and delivering

- Intimate with the purchase department to plan for procurement and purchase of various materials as per the inventory levels.

- Evaluate suppliers and negotiate on prices and purchase agreements

- Ensure goods are delivered as promised and meet quality

- Keep inventory of machines, spare parts, equipment, and materials

- Make tools and resources available for employees & maintain proper communication and relationship with suppliers

- Maintain receipts, records, and movement of material from Store to other facilities

- Monthly reporting of Opening & Closing Stock

Duties (Accountability)



- Daily / Weekly /Monthly reporting of inventory

- Any descripancies in case if mismatch

Qualifications



- Bachelors degree in Mechanical

Experience



2-5 Years/ Experience in Manufacturing, Oil & gas or similar industry is preferred.

Skills & Specialized knowledge



Listening, Speaking, Critical thinking & Monitoring Skills

Well versed with Computers, Knowledge of Tally Preferred.

Time management, Judgement & decision making skills

Persuasion & negotiation skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From AED2,500.00 per month
