Job Description

The Storekeeper is responsible for managing and maintaining inventory in the store or warehouse. This role ensures that all goods and materials are properly stored, tracked, and organized, and oversees the efficient flow of products in and out of the store. The Storekeeper will also assist with stocktaking, orders, and maintaining a safe and clean environment.

Key Responsibilities

:

Receive and inspect incoming goods to ensure quality, quantity, and condition meet the required standards. Organize and store goods in an orderly manner within the warehouse or store. Keep accurate records of stock levels and update inventory systems regularly. Issue goods to the relevant departments or individuals as per requests or orders. Monitor stock levels and advise on reordering to prevent stockouts or overstock situations. Perform regular stock audits and stocktakes to ensure accurate records are maintained. Prepare reports on inventory, including usage, movement, and adjustments. Ensure proper labeling and tagging of inventory for easy identification. Handle materials with care to minimize damage and waste. Coordinate with suppliers for deliveries and returns when needed. Maintain a clean and safe working environment in compliance with health and safety standards. Assist in preparing shipments and arranging logistics for outgoing stock. Resolve any discrepancies in stock levels or damage during storage or handling. Ensure all inventory-related documentation is completed and filed correctly.

Pay: AED2,500.00 - AED3,000.00 per month
