Key Responsibilities:
  • Receive, unload, and inspect incoming materials and supplies.
  • Ensure accurate documentation and record-keeping of all received items.
  • Store materials in designated storage areas according to inventory practices.
  • Issue materials and supplies to internal departments based on requisitions.
  • Maintain inventory levels and perform regular stock counts and audits.
  • Coordinate with purchasing and procurement teams to replenish stock as needed.
  • Monitor stock movements and ensure proper handling and packaging of materials.
  • Maintain a clean and organized warehouse or storage facility.
  • Adhere to safety and quality standards in handling materials and supplies.
  • Operate forklifts and other equipment to transport materials within the facility.
  • Collaborate with other departments to fulfill orders and resolve inventory issues.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proven experience as a Storekeeper or in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of inventory management practices and procedures.
  • Familiarity with warehouse management software and systems.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
