The Role
Job Title: Storekeeper Location: Abu Dhabi Job Overview: Our client is seeking a Storekeeper to manage inventory, ensure proper storage of raw materials and finished products, and maintain accurate stock records in a food manufacturing environment. The role involves monitoring stock levels, coordinating with procurement and production teams, and ensuring compliance with food safety and hygiene standards. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities: o Receive, inspect, and store raw materials, packaging supplies, and finished products. o Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular stock checks. o Ensure proper storage conditions to maintain product quality and safety. o Monitor stock levels and coordinate with procurement to prevent shortages. o Follow FIFO (First In, First Out) and FEFO (First Expired, First Out) principles. o Maintain cleanliness and organization in storage areas. o Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and HACCP guidelines. o Prepare stock reports and assist in audits. o Coordinate with production and logistics teams for smooth operations. o Adhere to company policies and safety regulations.
Requirements
Qualifications: o Diploma/High school in a relevant field. o 1-3 years of experience in inventory management or storekeeping, preferably in food manufacturing. o Knowledge of warehouse operations, stock control, and documentation. o Familiarity with HACCP, food safety standards, and storage best practices. o Basic computer skills for inventory tracking. o Strong organizational and communication skills. o Ability to work under pressure and handle physical tasks.
