We are looking for a storekeeper with attention to detail and a team player to join our team. He will work closely with purchasing departmentand will be in charge of the food and beverages store.
Responsibilities:
• Replenish supply inventories following established guidelines of the company.
• Maintain a neat, clean, and safe working environment as per government regulation.
• Manage the store layout.
• Receive,upload, and shelf all supplies.
• Inspect deliveries for discrepancy or damage.
• Report damaged inventories for record-keeping and reimbursement.
• Rotate stock and dispose of surplus and expired quantities.
• Keep an organized allocation of inventory placed in warehouse and store.
• Cross-verify the monthly report at the end of each month.
• Ensure proper completion of documentation to place an order and make a purchase.
• Maintain par stock, inventory, and stock records every month.
• Compiles records of expenditures/consumptions etc
• Ensure storage of goods follows the first in first out (FIFO) method.
Requirements:
Positive attitude and good communication skills.
Flexibility to respond to a range of different work situations.
Ability to work on your own or as part of a team.
Have a good eye for detail.
Familiar with inventory management.
Must have basic computerskills for the day to day operation.
Previous store management experience with stock control responsibility
Experience of at least two years in a similar positionin the full service hotelor hospitalityindustry
