Key Responsibilities
1. Store Management:
• Oversee day-to-day operations of all warehouse locations.
• Monitor stock levels and ensure availability of raw materials and supplies.
• Implement best practices for inventory management and control to reduce wastage.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards.
2. Inventory Control:
• Conduct regular stock audits and reconciliations.
• Maintain accurate records of inventory movement and storage.
• Implement systems to track stock usage, shelf life, and reorder levels.
• Develop and enforce procedures to minimize stock variances.
3. Cost Control:
• Analyze and monitor material consumption trends to identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Ensure accurate costing of materials and supplies used across locations.
• Collaborate with procurement and operations teams to maintain budget adherence.
• Generate detailed cost reports and recommend strategies for cost optimization.
4. Team Management:
• Supervise storekeepers and warehouse staff across all locations.
• Train and develop staff to maintain high levels of efficiency and accuracy.
• Set performance standards and conduct regular evaluations.
5. Coordination and Reporting:
• Collaborate with procurement, finance, and operations teams to ensure seamless workflows.
• Prepare and present reports on inventory, costs, and store performance.
• Address any discrepancies or issues promptly with relevant departments.
Qualifications and Experience
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in store management, inventory control, or cost management (preferably in the catering or FMCG industry).
• Proficiency in ERP systems and inventory management software.
• Advanced knowledge of Excel and data analysis.
• Familiarity with UAE food safety and storage regulations is an advantage.
