Job Title: Storekeeper Overview: As a Storekeeper, you will play a vital role in managing and organizing inventory within the organization. Your responsibilities include maintaining accurate records, overseeing stock levels, and ensuring efficient storage and retrieval of materials. Attention to detail, organizational skills, and knowledge of inventory management are essential for success in this role. Key Responsibilities: Inventory Management : Monitor and control inventory levels to ensure optimal stock levels are maintained.
Coordinate with suppliers and internal departments to replenish stock as needed. Stock Organization: Arrange and organize products within the store for easy access and efficient inventory management.
Implement effective labeling and categorization systems for different types of materials. Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of all incoming and outgoing materials.
Utilize inventory management software to update stock levels and track movement. Quality Control: Conduct regular inspections to ensure the quality of stored materials.
Report and address any discrepancies or quality issues promptly. Issuance and Receiving: Facilitate the issuance of materials to internal departments as per requisitions.
Receive incoming materials, inspect for damages, and update records accordingly. Reporting: Generate and provide regular reports on inventory levels, consumption, and trends.
Assist in preparing reports for budgeting and forecasting purposes. Coordination: Collaborate with procurement, logistics, and finance departments to streamline the supply chain process.
Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth operations. Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in inventory management is a plus.
• Proven experience as a Storekeeper or in a similar role.
• Familiarity with inventory management software and Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping
