Receive and inspect incoming shipments of goods, ensuring their accuracy and quality.
Unload and store products in the appropriate locations within the warehouse or storage area.
Maintain accurate records of all incoming and outgoing shipments, including quantities, descriptions, and dates.
Regularly update inventory records and databases to track stock levels and reorder supplies as necessary.
Keep the storage area clean, organized, and in compliance with safety regulations.
Perform regular inventory audits to identify discrepancies and resolve them promptly.
Prepare and package products for shipment, ensuring they are adequately protected and labeled.
Monitor and report any damage, defects, or issues with stored products.
Coordinate with other departments to fulfill internal requisitions for materials or products.
Follow proper handling and storage procedures for hazardous materials, if applicable.
Assist in the preparation of reports on inventory status and activities.
Maintain a cooperative and professional attitude when working with colleagues and vendors.
Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in inventory management is a plus. Proven experience as a Storekeeper. Knowledge of inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word). Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Physical fitness and the ability to lift and carry heavy items. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Basic knowledge of safety and environmental regulations. Job Type: Full-time Pay: AED2,000.00 - AED2,500.00 per month
