Job Description
We are currently seeking a reliable and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Stock Clerk. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate records of inventory, organizing stock in the warehouse, and assisting with inventory control. The successful candidate will be a team player with strong organizational skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.Responsibilities
- Receive and unload incoming stock and ensure all items are properly labeled and stored
- Inspect and verify the accuracy of incoming deliveries and report any discrepancies
- Organize and maintain inventory in designated storage areas
- Conduct regular stock audits to identify any inventory shortages or errors
- Restock shelves and displays as needed to ensure products are readily available for customers
- Assist with inventory control by monitoring stock levels and forecasting future needs
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure stock levels are aligned with sales goals
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in a retail or warehouse setting
- Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately record and track inventory
- Proficient computer skills, including working knowledge of inventory management software
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to lift and carry heavy objects, up to 50 pounds
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well in a team environment
