Kitchen Steward

Are you passionate about maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and organization in a dynamic kitchen environment? Do you thrive on being an integral part of a dedicated culinary team? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you!

What you will be doing:

As a Kitchen Steward, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the cleanliness and hygiene of our kitchen areas. Your responsibilities will include washing dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment, as well as maintaining a tidy and organized workspace. You will collaborate closely with chefs and kitchen staff to uphold our commitment to delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests.

Key Responsibilities:

• Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans using industrial dishwashers or by hand.
• Ensure all kitchen equipment and utensils are clean and sanitized according to established standards.
• Assist in the proper storage of kitchen items and equipment.
• Empty and clean trash containers regularly.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to maintain a clean and organized workspace.
• Adhere to health and safety guidelines at all times.

Qualifications

Your experience and skills include:

• Previous experience as a Kitchen Steward or similar role is preferred.
• Knowledge of proper sanitation and hygiene practices in a kitchen setting.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Team player with excellent communication skills.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
