Steward (Bottling Agent)
The Bottling Agent is responsible for maintaining the sanitation and cleanliness of water drinking bottles provided to guests in their rooms and ensuring that they are also properly prepared and served in the restaurants and meeting rooms.
What you will be doing:
Collect and replace dirty water bottles with clean, sanitized bottles
Label water bottles with the date of preparation and expiration
Monitor and maintain inventory levels of water bottles
Plan and execute cleaning schedules for the water bottling station
Use duty shift and water bottling station checklists to ensure tasks are completed
Maintain knowledge of all water bottling station machines and ensure highest standard of drinking water for guests
Ensure clean drinking water is available for daily operations
Keep work area clean and organized, and reduce spoilage and breakage
Understand and use different cleaning products and chemicals economically
Securely sign out and return keys
Inform stewarding supervisor of maintenance requirements, breakages, and machinery breakdowns
Prepare and distribute water bottles to guests in the restaurant and meeting rooms
Ensure water bottles are properly sanitized and stored
Follow health and safety guidelines and procedures
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor
