Job Title: Steel Structural Engineer

Job Type: Full-Time

Experience Level: Mid to Senior Level

Key Responsibilities:

Design and Analysis: Perform structural analysis and design for steel structures, including beams, columns, braces, and frames, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Project Management: Manage projects from conception through completion, including budgeting, scheduling, and coordinating with other engineers and contractors.

Technical Expertise: Provide technical guidance and support to the engineering team, ensuring all designs are efficient, safe, and cost-effective.

Material Selection: Evaluate and select appropriate materials for steel structures based on project requirements and environmental conditions.

Quality Control: Conduct inspections and quality control checks to ensure all work complies with design specifications and safety standards.

Documentation: Prepare detailed engineering reports, drawings, and specifications for projects.

Client Interaction: Work closely with clients to understand their needs and provide engineering solutions that meet their requirements.

Compliance: Ensure all engineering practices comply with local, state, and federal regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor in Mechanical Engineering or a related field .

Experience: Minimum of 05 years of experience in structural engineering, specifically in an aluminum company or steel fabrication company.

Technical Skills:

Proficient in structural analysis and design software (e.g., STAAD Pro, ETABS, SAP2000).

Strong knowledge of steel and aluminum materials and their properties.

Familiarity with relevant codes and standards (e.g., AISC, ASCE, Eurocodes).

Soft Skills:

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
