Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Steel Structure Draftsman with expertise in AutoCAD 2D & 3D to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for producing high-quality technical drawings, designs, and detailed plans for steel structure projects, ensuring all designs meet industry standards and project requirements. You will work closely with engineers and project managers to develop accurate and precise drawings to support construction and fabrication.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create detailed 2D & 3D drawings for steel structure designs using AutoCAD.
• Develop fabrication and erection drawings, including layout, sections, details, and plans.
• Interpret design sketches, specifications, and calculations provided by engineers to generate drawings.
• Coordinate with structural engineers to ensure designs align with structural integrity and building codes.
• Prepare material take-offs and assist in the estimation process.
• Review and revise drawings as necessary based on feedback from the project team.
• Ensure drawings are accurate, clear, and comply with project deadlines.
• Maintain an organized system for managing design documentation and revisions.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Steel Structure Draftsman .
• Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D & 3D is a must.
• Strong knowledge of steel structures, construction, and fabrication processes.
• Experience with BIM (Building Information Modeling) tools is a plus.
• Ability to interpret technical specifications and structural designs.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in drafting.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering , Structural Engineering , or related field is preferred.

Experience:

• Previous experience in steel fabrication and erection drawings is highly desirable.
