About the Job - Lead \xe2\x80\x93 steel structures Roles and Responsibilities: Provide the Lead support, guidance and mentoring production team in carrying out the necessary tasks. Carry out daily Health, Safety and Environment inspection Walkthrough and comply with occupational health, safety, security, environment, and quality requirements. Design structures as per the design specifications of the Clients. Create structural models by using computer-aided design software. Making calculations about loads, stresses and choose appropriate materials based on structural specifications. Identification and implementation of potential optimizations during the planning and execution of design/fabrication/installation works. Generation of design details along with the relevant documentation and submissions. Providing smart solutions for the various modifications with the least time and cost impact. Leads and guides construction workers onsite to build the structures based on technical specifications. Monitor permit and safe plan of action compliance. Ensure safety requirements of the project are being met by all workers by supporting and encouraging safe work practices. Monitors manpower, tools and equipment\xe2\x80\x99s usage on the site. Competencies: Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Engineering (Civil, Structural, or related) or Similar qualification required. Must have significant experience with Steel structures design, fabrication and installation. Certifications in any - Staad PRO / AutoCAD / Microstation / Ram Connection / Tekla Steel is an added advantage. More than 8 years of relevant working experience is required. Advanced Knowledge of construction tools and equipment such as structural drawings, steel material and profiles, Steel codes, permits, safety aspects, legal regulations and Three-dimensional conceptual skills. Excellent communication (verbal & written) skills in English. Exceptional leadership skills to lead the team. Structured and methodical approach to work. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
