Job Description

: We are looking for a skilled and experienced Steel Fixer to join our interior design team. The ideal candidate will have over 2 years of experience in steel fixing, with a strong understanding of reinforcing steel work. This role involves positioning, securing, and installing steel bars and mesh used in reinforced concrete structures, working closely with other construction professionals to ensure project specifications are met.

Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret construction blueprints and specifications to determine steel requirements.
• Cut, bend, and position steel bars and mesh to reinforce concrete structures.
• Secure steel bars and mesh in place using wire and spacers.
• Use hand and power tools to perform tasks such as cutting, bending, and fixing steel.
• Ensure all work complies with relevant safety regulations and quality standards.
• Collaborate with site managers, engineers, and other construction workers.
• Inspect and maintain tools and equipment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to steel fixing work.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in steel fixing or a related construction field.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and construction drawings.
• Strong knowledge of steel fixing techniques and methods.
• Ability to use hand and power tools efficiently and safely.
• Good physical condition and stamina, capable of lifting and positioning heavy steel bars.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills and ability to follow instructions.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with large-scale construction projects.
• Knowledge of various types of steel and their properties.
• Basic understanding of construction site safety regulations.

Pay: AED1,400.00 - AED1,800.00 per month
