The Steel Fabrication Foreman is responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of workers engaged in the fabrication of steel structures and components. This role involves ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The Foreman will oversee the daily operations of the fabrication shop, manage workflow, and ensure adherence to safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervision and Leadership:
• Direct and supervise the daily activities of the fabrication team, including welders, fabricators, and laborers.
• Provide training and guidance to team members, ensuring they understand and adhere to company standards and procedures.
• Conduct regular team meetings to communicate project goals, updates, and any changes to plans or schedules.
• Project Management:
• Review project plans, blueprints, and specifications to determine job requirements and priorities.
• Coordinate with project managers and engineers to ensure all materials, equipment, and labor are available to meet project timelines.
• Monitor the progress of fabrication work and make adjustments to schedules and tasks as necessary to ensure timely completion.
• Quality Control:
• Inspect completed work to ensure it meets quality standards and project specifications.
• Identify and address any issues or defects in the fabrication process.
• Implement quality control procedures and maintain records of inspections and tests.
• Safety Compliance:
• Enforce all safety regulations and protocols within the fabrication shop.
• Conduct regular safety meetings and training sessions with team members.
• Investigate and report any accidents or incidents, and implement corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.
• Resource Management:
• Manage the inventory of materials and supplies needed for fabrication projects.
• Coordinate the maintenance and repair of fabrication equipment and tools.
• Ensure the efficient use of resources to minimize waste and control costs.
• Documentation and Reporting:
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, including timesheets, production logs, and material usage.
• Prepare and submit regular progress reports to management.
• Document any changes to project plans or specifications and communicate these to the relevant parties.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED2,000.00 - AED4,000.00 per month
