:Our client, a leading semi-government hospital, is currently looking for Staff Nurses Long Term Care Pediatrics, to be based in Dubai. As a Staff Nurse, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality, patient-centered care to children and their families while ensuring the safety, comfort, and well-being of each child under your care. You will collaborate with a team of pediatricians, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to create and implement individualized care plans. In this role, your responsibilities would include but not limited to:Direct Patient Care: Provide comprehensive nursing care to pediatric patients in a long-term care setting, including medication administration, wound care, vital signs monitoring, and support with activities of daily living.Assessments and Care Plans: Conduct thorough assessments of each patients physical, emotional, and developmental needs. Develop, implement, and monitor individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team and family members.Family Support & Education: Provide emotional support and education to families, helping them understand the childs condition, care regimen, and resources available for long-term care. Foster positive communication with families to ensure they are well-informed and involved in their childs care.Collaboration: Work closely with the pediatric care team, including physicians, specialists, physical and occupational therapists, and social workers, to ensure a coordinated approach to care.Documentation & Compliance: Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in accordance with legal, regulatory, and hospital policies. Ensure all treatments and interventions are documented in the patients medical record.Clinical Supervision: Supervise and mentor nursing assistants, LPNs, and other staff as needed. Provide guidance and support to less experienced nurses in clinical settings.Patient Safety & Infection Control: Adhere to safety protocols, infection control measures, and hospital policies to ensure a safe and clean environment for patients and staff.Continuing Education: Participate in ongoing professional development, including in-service training, conferences, and workshops to stay up-to-date with pediatric nursing best practices and long-term care procedures.RequirementsTo be considered for this role, you must meet the following requirements:A Bachelors Degree in Nursing from an accredited institute/college/university is required.At least 2 years of clinical nursing experience in a pediatric hospital or similar healthcare setting.Experience in long-term care, pediatric intensive care, or rehabilitation settings is a plus.Valid and current professional Nursing license from country of origin.Ability to qualify for DHA nursing licensure requirements.Preferably someone with DHA license/eligibility.American Heart Association Basic Life Support training.
