Job Description

• Perform TIG, MIG, and SMAW welding on SS316 material with high precision.
• Fabricate and assemble components such as tanks, piping systems, and structural parts used in oil and gas operations.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and welding symbols.
• Use cutting, grinding, and bending tools to prepare materials for welding and fabrication.
• Inspect and test welds for quality and ensure compliance with ASME, API, and client-specific standards.
• Collaborate with engineers, supervisors, and quality control teams to meet project requirements.
• Maintain welding and fabrication equipment in optimal condition.
• Follow strict safety protocols and ensure the working environment adheres to HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) guidelines.

Qualification required

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Certification in welding (e.g., AWS Certified Welder, CSWIP, or ASME Section IX qualification).
• Specialized training in SS316 welding is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of NDT (Non-Destructive Testing) methods is an advantage.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a welder/fabricator in the oil and gas or related industries.
• Strong knowledge of welding processes (TIG, MIG, and SMAW) and tools.
• Familiarity with oil and gas industry standards such as API, ASME, and ASTM.
• Proven expertise in welding stainless steel materials, especially SS316.
• Good problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot fabrication or welding issues
• Experience with high-pressure and corrosive environments is a plus.

Pay: AED2,000.00 - AED2,500.00 per month
