As a Mechanical Technician specializing in Non Sterile Plants, your primary responsibility is to ensure the smooth operation, maintenance, and optimization of an extensive range of production and packaging equipment. This role demands technical expertise, meticulous attention to detail, and a comprehensive understanding of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic processes.Key Responsibilities:

• Adhere to cGMP principles, ensuring effective engineering support and maintenance activities.
• Oversee repair activities, ensuring alignment with company policies and exceeding machine maintenance requirements.
• Monitor safety activities within the Engineering Section.
• Manage maintenance activities for a diverse set of Non Sterile Production & Packaging equipment.
• Conduct planned preventative maintenance to prevent downtime and enhance efficiency.
• Overhaul and upgrade machinery when necessary.
• Optimize inventory for cost-effectiveness and compliance with company inventory control.
• Train and equip staff for high-standard maintenance work.
• Develop requirements for capital equipment acquisitions.
• Work on diverse scope issues, analyzing situations or data to improve GMP trends.
• Ensure a smooth running of all Mechanical equipment, meeting Production/Packaging Department requirements.
• Participate in projects and new installations, minimizing impact on Plant Operations.
• Report and manage time and materials consumed on job orders.
• Plan and direct the installation, testing, operation, maintenance, and facilities for the equipment.
• Initiate and implement technical concepts to improve machine efficiency.
• Prepare for internal and external audits with required records, data, preventive maintenance documents, and SOPs.

Qualifications:

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering

Experience:

• Minimum 7-9 years of experience in a similar role within the pharmaceutical or food industries.

Requirements:

• In-depth knowledge of Non Sterile Equipment, its parts, and operation.
• Comprehensive understanding of pharma machinery installation and maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of engineering and maintenance documents (GED).
• Expertise in mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic processes.
• Proficient in preventive/corrective maintenance planning and scheduling.
• Effective control of critical spare parts inventory.
• Strong command of English (written and verbal).
• Proficient in MS Office applications.
• Excellent management and communication skills.
• Positive mindset, effective encouragement skills, and strong analytical skills.
• Knowledgeable about materials and equipment used in pharma equipment and maintenance.
• Familiarity with SAP & EQMS Systems.
