We are seeking an experienced and driven Sales Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a background in sales within the aluminum and glazing, or curtain and blinds industries, with a strong emphasis on project sales. Experience working with fit-out companies will be highly preferred. This role requires a proactive individual with excellent communication and technical skills, and the ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets for aluminum, glazing, curtain, and blinds products.
Manage key accounts and establish long-term relationships with clients in the fit-out and construction industries.
Lead the sales process from identifying opportunities to closing deals, with a focus on large-scale project sales.
Provide technical expertise to customers, understanding their needs and recommending the best solutions tailored to their projects.
Collaborate with internal teams, including engineering, project management, and logistics, to ensure smooth delivery of products and services.
Prepare and present detailed proposals, quotes, and presentations to clients, demonstrating the value of the products and services offered.
Track project progress and customer feedback to ensure client satisfaction and successful project completion.
Work with the marketing team to promote products and services through various channels.
Monitor industry trends and competitors to identify opportunities for growth and innovation.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date sales records, including client details, project status, and sales forecasts.
Qualifications & Experience:
Proven +5 experience as a Sales Engineer in the aluminum and glazing, curtain, and blinds industries, with a focus on project sales.
Prior experience working with a fit-out company is preferred.
Strong understanding of the technical aspects of aluminum, glazing, curtains, blinds, or related products.
Excellent sales and negotiation skills with a successful track record in project-based sales.
Strong network in the construction, fit-out, or related industries is a plus.
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
Strong communication skills (both written and verbal).
Must have a valid driver's license and be willing to travel to client sites as required.
