The Sr. Pre-Sales Consultant for Managed Services and ITO Outsourcing plays a pivotal role in driving the sales process by understanding the customer's technical and business environment, thereby aligning and designing the optimal managed services and outsourcing solutions to meet their needs. This role significantly contributes to the growth and success of the organization by enabling sales teams with technical expertise, solution design, and proposal presentations while ensuring alignment with the strategic objectives of the organization.
Job Responsibilities:
Solution Design and Proposal Development
• Collaborate with sales teams to understand customer requirements and challenges in the managed services and ITO outsourcing domains.
• Design tailored solutions that meet customer needs while ensuring technical feasibility, cost-effectiveness, and alignment with company offerings.
• Develop detailed proposal documents, including scope of work, technical specifications, resource requirements, timelines, and cost estimates.
Customer Engagement and Needs Analysis
• Conduct workshops, meetings, and presentations with potential clients to gather in-depth understanding of their business requirements and technical infrastructure.
• Provide expert advice on managed services and ITO outsourcing strategies, trends, and best practices.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers by acting as a trusted advisor.
Cross-functional Collaboration
• Work closely with the product, engineering, and operations teams to ensure proposed solutions are viable and can be delivered effectively.
• Participate in internal strategy meetings to provide input on market needs, competitive landscape, and solution portfolio enhancement.
Market and Competitor Analysis
• Stay abreast of industry trends, technological advancements, and competitor offerings in the managed services and ITO outsourcing space.
• Share insights with the sales and marketing teams to refine sales strategies and develop targeted marketing campaigns.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
• 5-7 years of experience in pre-sales, sales engineering, or consulting within the managed services, IT outsourcing, or related IT services sectors.
• Writing Skills
• In-depth understanding of managed services, ITO outsourcing models, and IT infrastructure
• Familiarity with cloud technologies, cybersecurity, and IT compliance standards
• Proficient in solution design and cost-benefit analysis.
• Ability to conduct needs assessments and develop customer-specific solutions.
• Skilled in proposal writing and project planning.
• Knowledgeable about service management processes and frameworks (e.g., ITIL).
