:Wood is currently hiring PMC Sr. Planning & Cost Engineer to be based in Abu Dhabi, UAEResponsibilities:
Reviews Project Scheduling, Progress Measurement and Reporting requirements for execution of the project.
Reviews Business Plans for execution, establish strategies and priorities.
Reviews Execution Plans for preparation of Operating Budget
Coordinates with the Project Control Engineers of the PMT
Reviews the requirements of Scheduling, Progress Measurement and Reporting requirements in the Tender documents.
Reviews the Bid documents for compliance of the Scheduling, Progress Measurement and Reporting requirements.
Ensures that Procedures for Scheduling, Progress Measurement and Reporting are approved and implemented.
Reviews and endorse the Progress Invoices
Participates in Project Risk Review, Constructability review and Value Engineering Workshops
Reviews the Exceptional reports of the PMT on Project Control
Reviews the Contract Close-out reports and Performance Evaluation Report
Reviews and recommends amendments to the Execution and Implementation Procedures
Establishes and implements Projects Statistical Database for Benchmarking and reference
Reviews the short-term constraints & concerns and recommends to the Management the mitigation plans and actions.
Serves as focal point for assigned projects for integration of related schedules into overall Project planning packages
Responsible for the evaluation of variation orders impact upon approved project schedules
Responsible to provide schedule related progress input for weekly and monthly progress reporting.
Qualifications:
Bachelor degree in Engineering or equivalent
Minimum 15 years\' experience of construction planning in the oil & gas industry including Owner & PMC experience.
Experience in large offshore capital projects
