The Senior Manager Business Development will be responsible in strategizing & implementing the BD Strategy of Julphar, supporting the financial growth and development of the organization. Manage the relationship with key stakeholders, tracks new markets and emerging trends, recommends new products and services, proposes and develops new strategic partnerships, writes proposals and plans, and guides long-term objectives to meet business needs and requirements. The role holder should support the Business Development function by on ground execution of strategic goals and introduce new revenue-generating opportunitiesThe Sr Manager - BD, should develop and enact long-term growth strategies; take a high-level view of company goals and objectives to drive business growth. The role holder is expected to enhance efficiency and collaboration between business lines.Update the Risk Register by quantifying the impact of risks along with the mitigating strategy and residual risk and put risks into perspective by providing comparison and benchmarks to the Leadership Team on the area of new market, new product line, new channel partners etc.The incumbent will access the market as per the given strategic direction, by sourcing, screening, and evaluating new products and business prospects. Build relationships and provide strategic direction to help companies grow and profit by focusing on both internal and external key stakeholders like R&D, Quality, Production ,sales and marketing teams, vendors and distributors, and customers.
Strategize in coordination with the HOD for the entire product line life cycle with specific strategy formulation, recommendations on major tactical activities to achieve qualitative and quantitative objectives, developing the appropriate tools
Analyzes product distribution needs and proposed effective and profitable distribution strategies.
Initiates the registration of the brand in all countries, proposing forecasts, prices, and market shares, coordinate all relevant tasks to assure product registration.
Follow up project status, update. Prepares periodic reports for the ongoing strategic projects and initiatives.
Responsible for sourcing, screening, evaluating, and leading new products and market access.
Build professional relationships with statutory authorities, governing bodies, distribution network, ensuring strategical advantage in respective countries to achieve business objectives.
Manages the contract negotiations and coordinate with all relevant functional teams the successful completion of the specific form of agreement.
Provides market feedback to the company leadership regarding competitive offerings, prospect needs and generate product development ideas.
Drives increased revenue and profit to achieve the Company\'s ambitious growth.

Identify Business Opportunities and areas where the business can increase its footprint, by screening potential partnerships, opportunities to enhance distribution and open up new markets, and methods to enhance efficiency within the organization\'s sales and marketing departments.
Must ensure to coordinate activities between sales and marketing teams to introduce new campaigns and make decisions that drive sales growth.
Should be working closely with Commercial ( Marketing) function to gather and present market research and customer profiles in different geographies, recommending improved strategies to expand market reach.
Work closely with executives and operations specialists to improve operations planning and overall efficiency. Assess marketing and sales operations, along with supplier and vendor activities, making recommendations for improvements and enhancements.
They also make long-term operations decisions regarding product development and distribution strategies.

Possesses a great deal of familiarity with the company\'s products and services to identify opportunities to increase market share.
Conducts strategic and financial analysis that guide brands and its business development decisions including in-licensing pipeline opportunities, commercial co-promotion, and international opportunities.
Weekly/bi-weekly update & analytics to CFSO & other relevant stakeholder
Identifies new generic product development opportunities that support the corporate strategy through market and industry research.
Create dashboards & presentations to highlight business or marketing opportunities or to present the results of new strategies.
Increase market access and penetration and create innovative programs for better Agent / Distributors management in the concerned geography
Work with relevant stakeholders in pursuing partnerships and licensing arrangements in the given country and region

Master\'s Degree in Business Administration / International Business is mandatory
Having 10- 15 years of experience in the Pharmaceutical industry & in that at least 8+ years should be in Business Development Manager and above role in in MEA & other geographies
Must possess proven track record of successfully pitching for new business and opening up new territories\'
Demonstrated excellence in project management and effectively managing multiple projects/priorities is essential
Strong ability to formulate company position and negotiate agreements accordingly
Must possess strong working knowledge of Distributor / Agents operations, Government accounts, tendering processes, contracting and pricing methods
Functional knowledge of the clinical aspects of the pharmaceutical industry, supply chain, dispensing requirements and drug distribution channels is critical factors for the success of this role
Experience working with matrixed, geographically distributed and functionally diverse work groups is preferred.
Proven ability to build strong partnerships with the Commercial ,Operations, Science, Marketing, Regulatory, Quality and other key stakeholders is required.
