Lead the design and alignment of the physical infrastructure architecture, with the technology services and business strategy
Review the detailed plans for the integration of new infrastructure components into existing infrastructure, and provide feedback on improvements
Lead the design and implementation of the IT infrastructure across EDGE and its entities in coordination with the Digital and IT, and InfoSec sub-functions
Ensure maintenance of the IT infrastructure across EDGE and its entities including networks, servers and storage, database, data centers and communications
Manage IT infrastructure across EDGE and its entities while ensuring efficiency, integrity, reliability and security.
Assess, approve, and administer IT infrastructure software and hardware upgrades
Coordinate with business units across EDGE and its entities to develop strategies to ensure achievement of infrastructure capacity
Monitor the adherence to SLAs with internal stakeholders as well as third party providers
Ensure the deployment, monitoring, maintenance, development, upgrade, and support of all IT systems, including servers, operating systems, hardware, software.
Manage the performance of the IT infrastructure across EDGE and its subsidiaries and recommend opportunities for performance improvement
Oversee back-up and recovery plans ensuring that storage, archiving, back-up and recovery procedures are functioning efficiently
Analyze technical needs, current and future requirements, and state of the server, storage and virtualization infrastructure.
Supervise modification on existing databases to ensure the integrity and performance
Propose improvement opportunities and preventive measures to enhance the services provided by the infrastructure and delivery management sub-function
Develop, implement, and monitor information system policies and controls to ensure data accuracy, security, and compliance, in coordination with the InfoSec team
Review Data Center architecture and ensure it will support current system readiness service levels, disaster recovery requirements, compliance requirements, and future growth.
Perform any other duties as requested by the reporting manager
Experience:
Minimum 12 years of experience in IT Infrastructure and Delivery Management or related work experience
Experience in UAE or Middle East is desirable
Education:
Master\'s Degree in Information Technology or a related field, with relevant professional certifications (e.g. ITIL, COBIT, MSCE, AWS, etc.)
Key Skills:
MS Office
Knowledge of key IT metrics with the ability to track for progress
Knowledge of IT-specific technical requirements (e.g. best practice, legislation and regulation, methodologies, systems, third party providers)
Proficiency in English language is a must, Arabic is a plus
