The Context / Purpose of the JobAlign with overall objectives of the organization to meet long & short-term objectives of the DownstreamBusiness by providing complete management of the operations in Readybuild (Cut & Bend) andSm@rtFAB (Welded Wire Mesh) Centres.The role will represent the company to these Centres as a single point of contact and will lead the effectiveimplementation of contract management processes in the assigned Region. This role will be critical indeveloping and onboarding new Centres in line with the growth of the business in the region.The Senior Manager, Operations Management will ensure implementation of TSL policies, Safety- and Qualityrelated approved Processes, Inspection, and testing check lists (from Raw Material to Finished Goods) at thecentres.In addition, this role will also drive effective implementation of Product Branding and developing Centres as axe2x80x9cvisual factoryxe2x80x9d to ensure appropriate standard look and feel of the facilities. The role will lead in getting thecentres approved from various certifying agencies and customersxe2x80x99 representatives visiting the centre.The role will also drive operational and cost efficiencies, implement mandatory safety requirements andmentor the Operations and Maintenance team on capability development of the centres.3. Implement TSL H&S Policiesxefx82xb7 Develop a H&S Plan for the centre and process of regular internal H&S audit.xefx82xb7 Implement 5S concept for management of housekeeping of the Centres.4. Operations Management & Improving Operational Efficiencyxefx82xb7 Develop operational schedule based on OSP for each Centre.xefx82xb7 Monitor RM stocks at various stock points.xefx82xb7 Develop KPIs to monitor operational efficiencies.xefx82xb7 Develop MIS to update order progress and advance information of deviation.5. Risk Management & Prioritizationxefx82xb7 Ensure risk identification, risk analysis, risk evaluation, risk mitigation, and risk monitoring foreach centre.xefx82xb7 Guide site team/Vendors/Production partners and ensure Priorities of jobs sites are met basedon requirementsCost Reduction / Working Capital Management:xefx82xb7 Study the cost elements and benchmark them with the best in the industry.xefx82xb7 Develop cost reduction plans through automation/efficient processes.xefx82xb7 Monitor age of the RM and FG stocks at each centre and coordinate with sales and LP planningteam to ensure faster stock turnaround time.7. IT Supportxefx82xb7 Support Centrexe2x80x99s Operation team with selection of appropriate IT infrastructure.xefx82xb7 Implement necessary training in SAP processes and systems.xefx82xb7 Resolve IT issues in consultation with central IT support team.xefx82xb7 Support Centre with in understanding and supporting with various civil engineering softwarelike CuBe+, AutoCAD, MS Office and BIM Managers.8. Audits and Stock Reconciliation, disposal of scrap and old stocks:xefx82xb7 Plan and implement stock audits with the regional Manager.xefx82xb7 Close all the open audit observations in a time-bound manner.xefx82xb7 Support sales planning team in effective disposal of scrap/old stock.11. Rejections and Customer Complaints:xefx82xb7 Implement corrective and preventive actions at Centre based on customer/CCMP feedback.Customers: Service Centres, Steel processing centres (SPCs)Influencers: Architects, Engineers, Masons, Govt Bodies4.
