Sr. HR Officer
The Senior Human Resources Officer is responsible for managing and overseeing human resources functions within the landscaping company, ensuring the alignment of HR practices with company goals and objectives. This role is key to attracting, developing, and retaining talent, fostering a positive work culture, and managing HR compliance and best practices within a dynamic and fast-paced industry.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead the recruitment process for all levels of positions within the company, with a strong focus on operational, field, and administrative staff.
• Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies, including job postings, screening, interviews, and hiring.
• Maintain relationships with local job boards, universities, and industry networks to source potential candidates.
• Act as the primary point of contact for employee relations issues, providing guidance, support, and resolution for staff-related matters.
• Develop and implement employee engagement programs that promote a positive, productive, and safe work environment.
• Address and resolve employee grievances, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution.
• Collaborate with management to assess employee training needs and design programs that improve skills and career development.
• Organize and conduct onboarding, orientation, and ongoing training sessions to ensure compliance with industry standards and company policies.
• Promote professional growth and development opportunities for staff, focusing on leadership development and succession planning.
• Oversee compensation and benefits administration, Final Settlements
• Conduct salary reviews, bonus planning, and ensure payroll accuracy in collaboration with finance.
• Ensure compliance with labor laws and industry standards regarding wages, hours, and other compensation-related matters.
• Ensure adherence to all local labor laws and regulations.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry-specific HR best practices, labor law changes, and compliance requirements.
• Conduct regular audits of HR processes to ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
• Implement and oversee performance management systems, ensuring the regular review of employee performance, goal setting, and feedback.
• Work with managers to develop performance improvement plans (PIPs) and provide coaching for underperforming staff.
• Ensure alignment of individual and team performance goals with the overall company objectives.
• Provide HR leadership and strategic guidance to management and staff to align HR activities with the overall goals of the company.
• Work closely with senior management to advise on workforce planning, organizational development, and policy implementation.
• Contribute to the development of the company's long-term HR strategy and overall business objectives.
• Ensuring accurate employee records, reports, and data management.
• Prepare and analyze HR metrics to inform decision-making and improve HR functions.
• Maintain confidentiality and integrity of employee data.
Qualifications:
• Experience: A minimum of 5+ years of progressive UAE HR experience
• Skills:
• Strong knowledge of HR practices, employment law, compensation, benefits, and recruitment.
• Proven ability to resolve complex employee relations issues
• Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Proficiency in HRIS systems, Microsoft Office Suite,
