We are seeking an experienced

Senior Facilities Management Engineer

to join our team. In this role, you will ensure the effective and efficient operation of building systems and facilities, delivering top-tier services to meet client needs while maintaining high standards of safety and compliance.

The Senior FM Engineer will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and operations of all building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and other critical facilities infrastructure. This role involves managing teams, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, and implementing preventive maintenance programs to ensure seamless facility operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and oversee all aspects of building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire safety systems. Develop, implement, and supervise preventive and corrective maintenance programs to ensure optimal performance of building facilities. Conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues and ensure adherence to safety and regulatory standards. Lead and manage a team of technicians and contractors, ensuring work is completed to the highest standards of quality and safety. Coordinate and manage daily operations, ensuring facilities are maintained according to contract specifications and client requirements. Develop and maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, service reports, and work orders. Respond to client requests and address facility issues in a timely and professional manner. Prepare and manage budgets for maintenance and repair work, ensuring cost-effective solutions without compromising quality. Advise clients on energy-saving strategies and sustainability initiatives for facilities. Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) for facilities management, ensuring continuous improvement. Ensure compliance with relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations, and internal policies. Manage vendor contracts and third-party service providers, ensuring quality service delivery and compliance with contractual obligations.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil Engineering, or a related field. Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in facilities management, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or senior engineering role. In-depth knowledge of building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection. Strong understanding of preventive and corrective maintenance techniques. Experience with facility management software and building management systems (BMS). Familiarity with industry regulations, health and safety standards, and energy-efficient practices. Excellent problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. Strong budget management and cost control skills. Certifications in facilities management (e.g., IFMA, BIFM) are a plus.
