Job Description

We are currently seeking a talented and motivated Electrical Design Engineer to join our dynamic team. As an integral part of our engineering department, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing electrical systems and components for our innovative projects. You must perform all the qualities in excellent standard and in accordance to fit out works and projects.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the design and approval of all electrical works on assigned projects.
• Ensure that detail design methods, standards and data used on assigned projects meet the client Requirements.
• Carry out calculations detailed design, calculations & drawings (Lighting & Power Layout, Emergency & Fire Alarm, Load Schedule, Single line diagram) and studies required to finalize electrical equipment and specifications.
• Prepare material requisition and technical bid evaluation for electrical equipment on assigned projects.
• Review electrical design drawings at all stages to ensure the design meets local authority regulations and applicable standards.
• Review method statements for testing and commissioning to ensure correct sequence is drafted that meets specifications, standards, and local authority requirements.
• - Create electrical schematics, layouts, and wiring diagrams using CAD software.

- Ensure that all electrical designs and installations comply with relevant codes, safety standards, and regulations

- Prepare detailed cost estimates for electrical components and installations.

- Liaise with vendors and suppliers for sourcing electrical components and materials.

• Understand the contract quality management system and ensure these requirements are met.
• Carry out electrical engineering work as required by the lead electrical engineer in accordance with the agreed project schedule.
• Assist the designers for the preparation of electrical drawings such as SLD's, Protection and control schematics and layout drawings.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Proven 5+ years of experience as Electrical Design Engineer, preferably in Data Centre and large-scale projects.
• Strong knowledge of relevant standards, codes, and regulations, such as DEWA/ ADWEA Certification, IEE, NETA, etc...
• Proficiency in MS Office, Revit, AutoCAD and other relevant software tools.
• Knowledge in LEED principles to building designs.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team, managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, contractors, and project team members.
• Develop and design electrical systems, circuits, and components for various applications.
• - Create electrical schematics, layouts, and wiring diagrams using CAD software.
• - Ensure that all electrical designs and installations comply with relevant codes, safety standards, and regulations
• - Prepare detailed cost estimates for electrical components and installations.
• - Liaise with vendors and suppliers for sourcing electrical components and materials.
• - Supervision and managing the execution team to meet the requirements.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED6,000.00 - AED9,000.00 per month
