Plans for and anticipates short- and long-term human resource needs, following current trends. Ensures current employees have skills necessary for development and future organizational requirements. Oversees implementation of human resource policies including administration of compensation and benefits programs, management of workforce diversity, maintenance of human resources information systems and partners with the General Manager to provide HR guidance to the facility.The ideal candidate for this role will be a seasoned professional in the Human Resource Generalist discipline who works independently to interpret and explain human resources policies, assist leadership in addressing issues related to performance and recognition, and coordinates with employees regarding intermediate/complex employee relations issues. You will consult with leadership and centers of excellence to assess the organization's HR needs, and assists with Talent management and development.Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Work under supervision or site HR leader to communicate and implement HR programs that support the business goals and drive resultsSupport execution of Human Resources processes including performance management, salary planning, talent acquisition, onboarding and retention, employee relations & development, local employee related processes required within JAFZAPartners with centers of excellence, such as Talent and Total RewardsSupport general HR administration requirements, including but not limited to:New hire induction/processingLeave management and trackingLMS administrationBenefit plan renewalBenefit enrollmentWork Day transactionsEmployee Scholar Program administrationData for monthly payrollAssists with investigations related to human resource compliance and ethics issues, prepares documentation, and makes appropriate recommendations based on investigation findingsProvides timely, high quality and impactful employee communications to educate, motivate and engage employeesAssesses a range of issues and employs critical thinking skills to focus on and deploy creative and fiscally responsible solutions to manage costsContributes to continuous improvement/lean initiatives to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of human resources managementAddressing HR-related inquiries from all levels of employeesCoaching managers and employeesParticipating in succession planningSupporting diversity, recruiting and retention strategy efforts and programs, as neededAd hoc duties as assignedBasic Qualifications:Bachelor Degree in Human Resources or related fieldWorking knowledge of UAE Labor LawExperience with an HR Software SystemTwo years or more of relevant experience working in the Human Resources function with demonstrable skills in a variety of HR disciplines such as Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, Succession Planning, Employee RelationsFluent in English; Knowledge of Arabic preferredAbility to multi-task, and work under pressure in time-sensitive situationsDemonstrable organizational skills and project management skillsCustomer oriented with strong communication skillsPreferred Qualifications:Experience navigating JAFZA regulations, or similar within a Free Zone environmentExperience with Workday HR SystemMasters degreeCIPD qualification or equivalentExperience of interpretation and application of UAE labor lawExperience in the aerospace industry, preferably in an MROCreative troubleshooting skillsExcellent judgment and professional maturityRTX is An Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
