News and information are available at or follow us on .Job OverviewThe Senior Automatic Fare Collection (AFC) Engineer is responsible for overseeing the design review and construction supervision of automatic fare collection systems for the metro rail project. This role involves ensuring compliance with security standards and coordinating with various teams. Minimum 7-10 yearsxe2x80x99 experience in AFC systems and management.Roles and Responsibilities:Lead the design review and implementation supervision of automatic fare collection systems.Ensure compliance with security and payment standards.Conduct testing and commissioning of fare collection systems.Coordinate with IT, telecommunications, and payment teams.Ensure that the interfaces between each Contractors and the Metro Contractors are efficient and implemented in sufficient time.Provide technical support and training to project teams.Review and approve technical designs and specifications submitted by contractors.Conduct site inspections and assessments to ensure quality and compliance.Troubleshoot and resolve fare collection system issues during construction.Prepare and present fare collection system reports to stakeholders.Collaborate with contractors and suppliers to ensure system performance.Develop and implement fare collection system standards and procedures.Monitor project schedules and budgets to ensure timely completion.Oversee the integration of fare collection systems with other metro systems.Qualifications and Educational Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.Experience in automatic fare collection systems and metro projects.Knowledge of payment security standards (e.g., PCI-DSS).Knowledge and Experience:Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in Automatic Fare Collection system.Strong understanding of fare collection technologies and systems.Experience with fare collection software and hardware.Preferred Skills:Proven experience on major transport projects with similar rolesKnowledge and demonstrated experience in handling AFC and Central Clearing House Clearing Systems and operational performance monitoring of these systemsLatest industry knowledge in the job specific expertise.Ability to manage complex projects and deadlines.Why choose AtkinsRxc3xa9alis.Your difference makes a difference.
