We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join our dynamic finance team. As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing the daily operations of the accounting department, including month-end close, financial reporting, budgeting, and reconciliations. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in accounting principles and practices, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage the general accounting functions, including, but not limited to: accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and taxes.
• Ensure the timely and accurate preparation of financial statements in accordance with company policies and GAAP.
• Perform month-end and year-end close processes, including reconciliations and financial statement analysis.
• Prepare and review budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis reports.
• Monitor and analyze accounting data and produce financial reports or statements.
• Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies, and principles.
• Coordinate and complete annual audits and provide recommendations for improving procedures and systems.
• Support financial decision-making information by collecting, analyzing, investigating, and reporting financial data.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required;
• Proven experience as a Senior Accountant or similar role.
• UAE experience in Construction field will be preferred.
• Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.
• Experience with general ledger functions and month-end/year-end close processes.
• Hands-on experience with accounting software (e.g., Tally-ERP, QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle).
• Advanced MS Excel skills including Vlookups and pivot tables.
• Excellent analytical skills with an attention to detail.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED7,000.00 - AED8,000.00 per month
