Prepares and records asset, liability, revenue, and expenses entries by compiling and analysing account information according to accounting standards and IFRS.
Maintains and balances subsidiary accounts by verifying, allocating, posting, reconciling transactions; resolving discrepancies.
Prepare on a monthly basis company`s overhead analysis for Finance and country`s managers review.
Assist and supervise General/AP accountants related to all accounting transactions, and make sure all closing entries done as per IAS/IFRS and in a timely manner.
Maintains general ledger by transferring subsidiary accounts; preparing a trial balance; reconciling entries.
Summarizes financial status by collecting information; preparing balance sheet, profit and loss, and other statements.
Maintain and update companies Asset register on a monthly basis.
Assist the Accounting Manager in Preparation of Management & Financial Accounts to agreed timetables.
Optimise the use of the accounting system e.g. ERP Packages to assist in the smooth running of the business

Experience / Achievements
Minimum 5 to 7 year industry experience.
Desirable
Experience on ERP platforms an advantage, though not essential.
