Job Description

  • Prepares and records asset, liability, revenue, and expenses entries by compiling and analysing account information according to accounting standards and IFRS.
  • Maintains and balances subsidiary accounts by verifying, allocating, posting, reconciling transactions; resolving discrepancies.
  • Prepare on a monthly basis company`s overhead analysis for Finance and country`s managers review.
  • Assist and supervise General/AP accountants related to all accounting transactions, and make sure all closing entries done as per IAS/IFRS and in a timely manner.
  • Maintains general ledger by transferring subsidiary accounts; preparing a trial balance; reconciling entries.
  • Summarizes financial status by collecting information; preparing balance sheet, profit and loss, and other statements.
  • Maintain and update companies Asset register on a monthly basis.
  • Assist the Accounting Manager in Preparation of Management & Financial Accounts to agreed timetables.
  • Optimise the use of the accounting system e.g. ERP Packages to assist in the smooth running of the business

Salary:
AED 15,000 to 17,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.REQUIREMENTSEssential Qualifications
  • Professionally qualified - ACCA/ CPA/ CMA or Masters degree (Specialization in Accounting & Finance)
Experience / Achievements
  • Minimum 5 to 7 year industry experience.
Desirable
  • Experience on ERP platforms an advantage, though not essential.
  • Accounting, SFAS Rules, Research Skills, Analyzing Information
  • Attention to Detail, Deadline-Oriented, Confidentiality, Thoroughness, Corporate Finance, Financial Software, General Math Skills
