Position Title Sr. Accountant

Base Location (City) Manama Country Bahrain

DO -- Key Responsibilities

1. Tasks:

Carry out day-to-day bookkeeping and finance/ accounting (payments/ receivables/ payroll) tasks that are subject to well-defined procedures Reconcile and settle customer accounts, purchase orders, receipts/rental income/accrued income Produce routine daily reports and documents using financial reporting systems Conduct Revenue Reconciliation, GL Reconciliation and monthly book closure activity Conduct reconciliation of bank and cash clearing account Management of MIS on Monthly/ Quarterlyl Annual Basis Budgeting and management of the budgets Undertake analysis and ad hoc reports as per requirement from the Leadership team. Ensure external Statutory Audits and other relevant regulatory filings are complied with as per the regulatory requirements Prepare and check monthly vouchers Handle petty cash payments Take control & custody of rental collection and adherence to the internal control Handle processing and collection of cheque /TT payments

DISPLAY

QUALIFICATION Basic Qualification / Education / Vocational Training Graduate degree in Finance/ Accounts/ Management etc

Advanced Qualification / Certification / Specialist Training Chartered Accountants Intern Certification in ERP from any accredited institute Certification in MS Office from any accredited institute

EXPERIENCE Minimum Experience 4 - 8 years of experience

COMPETECIES Functional Skills and Capabilities Knowledge of MIS Knowledge of Accounting/ MIS standards Knowledge of handling Accounts Payables Knowledge of MS Office (Excellent) Knowledge of ERP Package - Oracle Fianace & HRMS Knowledge of Cognos.
