Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Vehicle Spray Painter. As a Vehicle Spray Painter, you will be responsible for applying paint and other coatings to vehicles, ensuring a high-quality finish that meets our standards and exceeds customer expectations. You will work with a variety of vehicles, including cars, trucks, vans, and motorcycles, utilizing your expertise to achieve precise color matching and flawless application.

Responsibilities:

Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and applying primers as necessary. Mix paints to match vehicle colors, using paint mixing equipment and color charts. Apply paint, enamel, and other coatings using spray guns and other painting equipment. Ensure even application and coverage of paint, adjusting techniques as needed to achieve desired results. Perform quality inspections to identify and correct any imperfections or defects in the finish. Follow safety procedures and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment. Keep work area clean and organized, properly storing equipment and materials. Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines. Stay current on industry trends and technologies related to vehicle painting.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Vehicle Spray Painter. Strong knowledge of painting techniques, equipment, and materials. Ability to mix and match paint colors accurately. Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work. Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity. Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team. Physical stamina and ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects. Certification or training in automotive painting is a plus.
