We are seeking a passionate and skilled Sportswear Designer to help shape the future collections. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of sportswear trends, fabric technology, and a keen eye for design aesthetics. You'll be collaborating closely with the product development, marketing, and athletic teams to create high-performance, functional, and stylish sportswear. Key Responsibilities: Conceptualize, design, and develop innovative sportswear collections from initial idea to finished product. Research and stay up-to-date on the latest sportswear trends, materials, and technologies. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product developers, athletes, and marketing, to ensure designs meet performance and aesthetic goals. Create sketches, technical drawings, and prototypes using design software and tools. Select appropriate materials, ensuring functionality, comfort, and sustainability. Provide input on color palettes, patterns, and fit based on performance needs and market demands. Attend fittings and make adjustments based on feedback to perfect product performance. Ensure designs align with the brand's identity, values, and target audience. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design, Textile Design, or a related field. Proven experience (3+ years) as a sportswear or activewear designer. Strong knowledge of garment construction, performance fabrics, and technical design. Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and CAD. Strong sketching skills and attention to detail. A solid understanding of sports culture and the specific needs of athletes. Ability to work well in a team, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
