Al Amal Medical Centre is seeking a compassionate and skilled Speech Therapist to join our team of healthcare professionals. The ideal candidate will assess, diagnose, and treat individuals with speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders, providing tailored interventions to improve patients' quality of life.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assessment and Diagnosis:
• Evaluate patients with speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing difficulties through various diagnostic tools and techniques.
• Develop individualized therapy plans based on patient assessments and goals.
• Therapeutic Intervention:
• Deliver evidence-based speech therapy to children and adults, addressing a variety of conditions such as developmental delays, aphasia, dysarthria, and voice disorders.
• Implement augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) systems when necessary.
• Provide therapy for swallowing disorders (dysphagia) and educate patients on safe feeding techniques.
• Patient and Family Education:
• Educate patients and their families about treatment plans, progress, and techniques for practice at home.
• Offer strategies to caregivers and educators to support patients' communication needs in everyday settings.
• Team Collaboration:
• Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals, including doctors, occupational therapists, and psychologists, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Participate in multidisciplinary case discussions and contribute to team-based treatment approaches.
• Documentation and Compliance:
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including evaluations, treatment plans, and progress notes.
• Adhere to ethical standards, clinic policies, and regional healthcare regulations.
• Professional Development:
• Stay informed about advancements in speech therapy techniques, tools, and research.
• Participate in continuing education and training sessions to enhance professional skills.
