Job Title: Speech Therapist

Job Summary: Al Reem Group is seeking a full-time Speech Therapist to provide high-quality speech and language therapy services to patients. The Speech Therapist will assess communication disorders, develop personalized therapy plans, and help patients improve their speech, language, and swallowing abilities. This role requires strong diagnostic skills, a patient-focused approach, and the ability to work closely with a multidisciplinary healthcare team.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments to diagnose speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders in patients.
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans based on patient needs and goals.
• Provide direct therapy to patients to improve communication abilities and swallowing functions.
• Educate patients and families on exercises, techniques, and strategies to manage speech and language challenges.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care.
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient progress, treatment plans, and outcomes.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and professional standards.
• Provide emotional support and guidance to patients and their families during the treatment process.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of best practices in speech therapy.
• Monitor and manage therapy equipment, ensuring all necessary tools are available for effective treatment.

Qualifications:

• DOH licensed Speech Therapist is a must.
• Bachelors degree in Speech and Language Pathology or a related field required.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a hospital, clinic, or rehabilitation setting.
• Strong diagnostic and therapeutic skills in speech, language, and swallowing disorders.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Arabic speaking will be an advantage.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and manage a caseload of patients.
• Proficiency in electronic medical records and relevant software.
• Knowledge of Abu Dhabi healthcare regulations and standards.
• Immediate availability preferred.
