:The Human Rights and Sustainability department is responsible for identifying and mitigating worker welfare related risks across the clients business portfolio, in accordance with the approved worker welfare policy, principles and requirements. The project consultant will routinely conduct assessments of the clients supply chain, including but not limited to general contractors, facilities management providers and asset operators.To maintain governance, the project consultant will be responsible for the active monitoring of contractors and subcontractors through onboardings, risk-based follow-up assessments, worker interviews, accommodation and transportation assessments and audits as well as passive monitoring through grievance mechanisms including a worker welfare hotline and a worker grievances application. The project consultant will be required to procure worker welfare services and personnel to complete the monitoring activities that the central worker welfare team deems appropriate given the project characteristics. .Requirements:Locally based SME to support regional efforts with knowledge of local context, labour rights and challenges, ethical recruitment and issues of labour rights within the jurisdiction of the United Arab Emirates and The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.Knowledge of international labour standards, UNGPs, modern slavery and forced labour risks etcExperience working with large international brands to manage labour rights issues within their supply chain and evidenced support in assisting to rectify issues identified.Driving licence is essentialBenefits:Control Risks offers competitive benefits aligned to the relevant jurisdiction.
