Specifications and Project Key Account Manager - Middle East - Protective Coatings - InfrastructureLocation: Dubai, UAEYour role:In this role, you will be a vital contributor to the sustainable growth of PPGs Protective Coatings business and team. Structures in the Infrastructure segment, require fire and corrosion protection as well as durable finishes. Protecting these assets while safeguarding a cleaner environment is our mission. With your strong knowledge of the market and equipped with our advanced product solutions, you will be able to build solid and lasting relationships with key customers in the value chain whilst targeting and securing projects.Your team:In this role you will be part of a well experienced and motivated team locally, regionally and globally. A team with high ethical standards, commitment to quality and loyal to customers and colleagues. Also, a team that plays to win and moves at a high pace to support customers, increases PPGs position to win strategic projects and grow the business. We welcome initiative and new ideas and gladly take on new innovations and opportunities.What we expect from you is to:
Pipeline & opportunity management and ownership
Co-decide with EMEA Segment manager on which projects to focus on regionally
Ensure that PPG products and systems are specified and approved by target customers/clients in the total project chain
Own the project/opportunity in the full value chain until these are won
Structured opportunity management via a CRM system and collaboration throughout the internal organization
Drive the execution of project action plans
Remove roadblocks and provide solutions in collaboration with PPG Team Members
Key Account Management
Identify key decision makers and their requirements and needs.
Build durable business relationships with these decision makers and influencers
Provide industry, product and coating systems information through the use of digital marketing and selling tools to become the trusted coating advisor for the arget decision makers.
Obtain and communicate in depth knowledge of customer needs, competitor offers and industry developments to the internal PPG teams to enable innovation and development of our value propositions.
Key knowledge skills and attributes
High knowledge of the full value chain in Infrastructure new build projects
Highly commercially driven nature
Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills
How you qualify for the job:
Chemical/Mechanical engineer or equal through relevant experience
Proven (technical) sales and presentation skills in a fast pace Business to Business environment - preferably with >5 years of experience.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Team player.
