Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly skilled Specification Engineer with experience in ELV (Extra Low Voltage) systems to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing, reviewing, and finalizing technical specifications for ELV systems, ensuring they meet both client and regulatory requirements. As a Specification Engineer, you will work closely with project teams, vendors, and clients to ensure the correct implementation of ELV systems and components in various projects. A valid driving license is required for occasional site visits.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, review, and finalize technical specifications for ELV systems, including but not limited to,

CCTV, access control, fire alarm systems, public address systems, and structured cabling

.

Collaborate with project managers, design engineers, and other technical teams to ensure specifications align with project requirements and standards.

Ensure that all

ELV system designs and specifications comply with national and international standards and regulations

.

Provide technical support and guidance to sales, procurement, and installation teams during project execution.

Conduct site surveys when required to gather information and ensure that specifications meet the project requirements.

Coordinate with vendors and manufacturers to select the appropriate products and solutions based on project needs.

Review and analyze tender documents, providing input on specifications and requirements for ELV systems.

Prepare detailed technical submittals, reports, and documentation for client approval.

Participate in meetings with clients, consultants, and contractors to discuss technical requirements and project specifications.

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, product innovations, and relevant regulations affecting ELV systems.

Troubleshoot technical issues and provide solutions to improve system performance and reliability.

Assist in preparing project timelines and resource planning, ensuring timely delivery of specifications and documentation.

Requirements:

Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field.

Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience working in an ELV company, with a focus on specifications, design, and implementation of ELV systems.

Driving License: Valid driving license is required for site visits.

Skills:

Strong knowledge of ELV systems, including CCTV, access control, fire alarm systems, public address, and structured cabling.

Excellent understanding of technical specifications, engineering drawings, and system integration.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Ability to review, interpret, and develop detailed technical documentation.

Good communication skills to collaborate effectively with clients, suppliers, and internal teams.

Proficiency in MS Office Suite and technical drawing software (AutoCAD, Revit, etc.).

Detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.

Strong negotiation skills when working with suppliers and contractors.

Preferred Qualifications:

Certification in ELV systems or related industry standards.

Experience working with international clients and large-scale projects.

Knowledge of building codes and safety regulations relevant to ELV systems.
