Responsibilities
• Initiate and secure specifications and product approvals with specifiers, architects and consultants during all stages of the project life cycle.
• Identify opportunities and assist sales team with specification conversions.
• Provide specification and technical support to specifiers, architects and consultants.
• Build and maintain professional relationships with key practices, stakeholders and decision makers.
• Arrange and conduct CPDs, presentations and seminars for architects and consultants.
• Liaise with government entities, authorities and developers for product and system approvals.
• Identify market, product and project opportunities in order to generate leads for the sales team.
• Support with project and technical documentation.
• Support with technical training.
• Assist with the development and implementation of project marketing strategies.
• Monitor market trends and develop and disseminate market intelligence.
Required Characteristics
• University degree preferably in Construction Engineering, Architecture or other relevant degree, or equivalent through experience.
• A proven track record in sales / specification / marketing in EIFS / ETICS, coatings, paints, construction chemicals, dry mixes or other relevant industry segment preferred.
• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Dynamic personality with excellent organisational skills and proven ability to take initiative and work autonomously.
• English fluency required. Additional languages give an added advantage.
• Proficiency with MS Office required. Familiarity with CRMs and project design software gives an added advantage.
• Ability to travel extensively both domestically and internationally.
• Valid UAE driving license required
