• Support the management in implementation of Trading Control & Market Surveillance Department policies, procedures and controls covering all areas of assigned department activity so that all relevant procedural/legislative requirements, fulfilled while delivering a quality, cost-effective service.
• Support the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement and sustainability of systems, processes and practices considering global standards, productivity improvement and cost reduction.
• Ensure that all reports are prepared timely and accurately and meet ADX requirements, policies, and quality standards.
• Monitor trading activities to ensure integrity and alignment to SCA and ADX rules and regulations.
• Process and monitor trading activities such as but not limited to new listings, trade correction, indices changes and maintain the audit trail.
• Observe daily trading and its operations to provide mainly brokers mainly the opportunity for a smooth and secure trade ensuring transparency & fairness.
• Continuously track and monitor securities trading and the processes to ensure transparency, fairness and effective risk management in all transactions
• Monitor trading activities to ensure seamless operations and identify ways of improving the trading systems.
• Give recommendation in the design of new products and services.
• provide suggestions for improvement in existing ones and implementation of new ideas received from brokerage firms.
• Recognize and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and effectiveness of trading systems.
• Proposal and implement initiatives to enhance trading systems and processes.
• Respond to broker queries and address in a timely and efficient manner.
• Liaise with legal to ensure adherence to applicable law and legislation.
