The Specialist - Supply Chain, Warehouse and Logistics is responsible for supporting the efficient operation of the warehouse and logistics functions. This role involves overseeing inventory management, coordinating distribution activities, and ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of goods. This role will work closely with the Procurement Manager and Managing Director to optimize processes and improve overall supply chain performance. Key Responsibilities: Inventory Management o Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure adequate stock while minimizing excess inventory. o Maintain accurate inventory records, conduct regular stock counts, and ensure proper storage of goods. o Manage warehousing activities, including storage, inventory control, and order fulfillment. Receiving and Shipping: Oversee the receiving of incoming shipments and the preparation of outgoing shipments, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Warehouse Organization o Organize and maintain the warehouse layout to optimize space and efficiency. o Oversee daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficient storage, handling, and distribution of goods. Quality Control o Inspect incoming and outgoing goods for quality and accuracy, addressing any discrepancies. Transportation Management: o Coordinate and oversee the transportation of goods, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery. Coordinating the movement of goods from suppliers to warehouses, between facilities, and to customers. Vendor Management: o Work with carriers, suppliers, and other distribution partners to ensure reliable and efficient service. Process Improvement o Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs. Shipment Coordination: o Plan and coordinate the distribution of goods, ensuring timely and accurate delivery to customers and other destinations. Vendor Management: o Liaise with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery and quality of goods. Reporting: o Prepare and analyze reports on inventory levels, logistics performance, and other key metrics. Compliance: o Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies. Documentation: o Maintain accurate records of inventory movements, shipments, and receipts. Team Collaboration o Work closely with Procurement, Customer Service and Technical Workshop Department to coordinate warehouse activities. o Supervise and train warehouse staff, ensuring adherence to safety and operational standards. Reporting: o Prepare and present reports on logistics and distribution performance, including key metrics and KPIs. Collaboration: o Work closely within Supply Chain department and other departments, such as operations and accounts to ensure a seamless customer experience. Technology Utilization: o Utilize the ERP software and tools to track and manage logistics-related activities. Safety Compliance: o Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment. o Any other responsibilities as and when delegated by the Department Manager and/ or Management directives. o Adherence to all Company SOPs, Policies, and UAE regulations
Requirements
Qualification & Experience:
o Bachelor's degree in business administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. o Minimum of 3 years in logistics administration, freight coordination, or a similar role. o Familiarity with 3PL handling and shipping documentation. o Ability to work proactively, handle multiple tasks, and meet deadlines under minimal supervision. o Strong analytical and reconciliation skills. o Excellent organizational and time- management abilities. o Clear and professional communication skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders. o Proficient in MS Office, Especially Excel, for data management and reporting.
