Contributes to the orientation of physicians, psychologists, social workers, nurses and other Medical Organization personnel in the early detection, recognition, management or referral of psychiatric cases.
Participates in the continuing medical education for physicians and nurses by talks in staff meetings, presenting cases in ward rounds, and lecturing to nurses.
Participates in teaching and quality assurance programs.
Takes after hours or weekend calls as required by specific cases or in emergency situations as requested

Qualifications:QUALIFICATION, LICENSURE, EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, SPECIAL SKILLS
Graduate from an accredited school of Medicine with an MBBS degree.
Post-Graduate Masters degree or equivalent Fellowships approved by DOH.
Minimum of five years experience in the practice as Psychiatry post certification.
Current licensure in country of origin and with DOH license to practice in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
Must have a thorough knowledge of medical ethics, with particular reference to the obligation to maintain the confidentiality of his work; and adhere to Bylaws, Rules and Regulations of the Medical Organization.
Excellent command of oral and written English. Knowledge of Arabic language is desirable but not essential.
