To contribute to the technical performance and planning activities across the fleets of ADNOC L & S by conducting analyses and coordinating with internal departments in order to ensure the timely consolidation and execution of the fleets performance.
To direct the development and execution of long term regulatory, statutory and classification requirements and plan projects accordingly.
To develop and monitor plans and programs aimed at ensuring the continuous efficiency of the fleet vessels.
To analyse present fuel efficiency and monitor the daily consumption. To study means of reducing fuel consumption.
To implement and continuously monitor the achievement of the Division KPIs and the Balanced Score Card for the Division to reinforce a vessel wide drive for performance.
To direct the development and execution of the minor and major capital project development, planning and delivery.
To monitor the performance of the planned maintenance system and monitor vessel compliance of work orders and inventory.
To assist the fleets in technical incident and equipment failure investigations in the areas of Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation & Control, Automation and Engineering as a technical Subject Matter Experts (SME) in order to sustain the productivity, integrity and reliability of the fleet vessels.
Job Specific AccountabilitiesBusiness Strategy
Participate and contribute to the development and refinement of the vision and long term strategy for the Company by ensuring the high performance of the fleet vessels.
To assist in developing and implementing the Ship Management Business Strategy.
Ensure the fleets long and short term technical plans are effectively converted into the Divisionxe2x80x99s acceptable performance objectives in line with established service levels.
External Communications & Working Relationships
Contacts with project management companies, project consultants, contractors, engineering consultancy firms and outsourcing service providers.
Minimum Requirement
Bachelorxe2x80x99s degree in a relevant Engineering discipline or equivalent
Marine Chief Engineer certificate of competency
Marine sailing experience as a watch keeping engineer at a management rank
Experience in Gas, Tanker and Dry vessels is preferred.
In-depth knowledge of Technical Services performances and best practices.
In-depth knowledge of general mechanical/electrical engineering and marine automation.
