Join us.We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Project Controls Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in monitoring project performance, analyzing data, and providing support to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget. This role involves working closely with project managers and other team members to track progress, identify risks, and implement corrective actions.Responsibilities:
Assist in creating and maintaining project schedules, budgets, and forecasts.
Monitor project progress and performance metrics.
Collect and analyze project data to identify trends and potential issues.
Support project managers in developing reports and presentations for stakeholders.
Collaborate with team members to ensure accurate and timely reporting.
Assist in identifying risks and developing mitigation strategies.
Provide administrative support for project documentation and filing.
Participate in project meetings and contribute to discussions on project status and challenges.
Utilize extensive knowledge in contract management to ensure compliance with project requirements and contractual obligations.
Manage contracts and vendor relationships effectively to support project objectives and minimize risks
Qualifications
Bachelor\'s degree in engineering, or finance.
Must have at least 2 years of experience in project controls field.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, Power BI and PowerPoint.
Familiarity with project management software (e.g., Primavera, Microsoft Project).
The candidate must possess foundational knowledge in reviewing and comprehending contracts, including the ability to assess contract language, ensure compliance, identify risks, and communicate effectively with stakeholders regarding contractual obligations.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks.
Eagerness to learn and grow in the field of project controls.
Previous internship or work experience in project management or related field is a plus.
Attention to detail and accuracy in data analysis and reporting.
