Overview:

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Specialist - Program Management to support our Applied Sciences team in driving its contributions to cutting-edge AI product development. This role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams, proactive coordination of department activities, and strategic support for leadership. You will play a critical role in ensuring that the Applied Sciences team operates effectively and efficiently to meet its objectives aligned with the company's strategic objectives.



The opportunity



As a Specialist in Program Management, you will work at the intersection of technology, planning, and strategy within the Applied Sciences team. This role provides a unique chance to support a team of world-class researchers and scientists, contributing directly to AI innovations and their integration into impactful products. This position requires hands-on experience in team coordination, resource planning, partner management, and executive-level reporting.



Inception is the UAE's national-scale enabler in AI Research and Development. Partnering with Microsoft's AI SaaS, we offer domain-specific Agentic AI Orchestrator platforms utilizing reasoning agents for precise and cost-effective services. Responsibilities:

As the Specialist Program Management, you will be responsible for executing specialized tasks and supporting Applied Science team to ensure the Inception's goals are met. Your role will include a range of activities focused on leveraging your expertise to drive success.



o Assist in managing the Applied Science workflows, ensuring the timely progress of initiatives related to the Applied Sciences team's contributions to the overall product development.



o Act as a liaison between the Applied Sciences team and other departments by coordinating tasks with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth collaboration and delivery.



o Represent the Applied Sciences team in Agile (Scrum) ceremonies as needed, ensuring effective communication and alignment.



o Work closely with Agile teams to ensure smooth integration of Applied Sciences deliverables into broader product / program goals.



o Manage meetings and consolidate updates from Applied Sciences into an overall PMO reporting dashboard for streamlined visibility and reporting.



o Assist in manpower planning and resource allocation to meet the program needs.



o Act as a point of contact for partners and vendors managing expectations and ensuring alignment.



o Prepare compelling and concise presentations and updates for senior executives and stakeholders.



o Support tracking key initiatives, milestones and deliverables from Applied Science.



Qualifications:

Skills and attributes for success



o Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Operations Management, or a related field is required.



o Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in program management or a related field.



o Experience working in an AI focused organization / team with familiarity with the latest AI technologies including GenAI is strongly preferred.



o Experience working in an agile environment.



To qualify for the role, you must have



o Strong organizational and coordination abilities, with a track record of managing multiple priorities effectively.



o Ability to build strong relationships and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.



o Proficiency in program management tools and software like JIRA and Monday.com



o Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) is a must.



o Any Project Management or Scrum certification is a plus.
