Project Planning and Coordination: Assist project managers in developing detailed project plans, schedules, and resource allocations, ensuring alignment with PMO standards and organizational goals.
Monitoring and Reporting: Track project progress against established timelines and KPIs, providing regular status reports to management and key stakeholders, ensuring transparency and proactive issue identification.
Risk and Issue Management: Support the identification, tracking, and mitigation of project risks and issues, collaborating with teams to develop contingency plans and ensure timely resolution.
Process Improvement: Contribute to the continuous improvement of PMO processes, tools, and methodologies by identifying inefficiencies and proposing actionable solutions.
Resource Allocation and Utilization: Assist in managing resource allocation across multiple projects, ensuring optimal use of personnel, budget, and other resources.
KPI Management: After setting and getting KPIs approved, support in linking them to department managers and ensuring their alignment with project goals and outcomes.
Stakeholder Communication: Facilitate communication between project teams, senior management, and stakeholders, ensuring alignment and addressing concerns proactively.
Project Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including reports, financial tracking, meeting minutes, and risk logs, ensuring consistency with PMO practices.
Governance and Compliance: Ensure projects adhere to established PMO governance, processes, and compliance standards, supporting audit readiness and organizational accountability.
Tool and System Management: Provide support in using project management tools (e.g., SAP, Microsoft Project), ensuring team members are proficient and tools are utilized effectively.
xc2xb7Guide and mentor younger team members, helping to develop their project management skills and ensuring their growth within the PMO structure.xc2xb7Assist the PMO Manager with additional tasks and responsibilities as required, ensuring seamless operations and support across projects.Knowledge/Qualification & Experience:
Bachelor's or master's degree in engineering or related technical fields
Professional certification in Project Management (e.g., PMP) or Agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum Master).
Proficiency with project management tools such as SAP, Jira, or Microsoft Project.
Advanced qualifications in management (e.g., MBA) or risk management are advantageous.
At least 8 years of PMO experience, with a focus on project management in an R&D environment.
Demonstrated experience in Agile or hybrid project management frameworks.
Expertise in managing development projects in the space, aerospace or defense sector.
In-depth knowledge of systems lifecycle, including project planning, risk management, resource allocation, system integration, and compliance with standards.
