- Medical degree (MD or equivalent) from a recognized institution.
- Residency training in plastic surgery.
- Additional fellowship or specialized training in the treatment of burn patients.
- Board certification in burns and plastic surgery from a recognized medical board.
- A valid medical license to practice in the UAE, preferably obtained through the MOH.
- Proficiency in English; Arabic language skills may be preferred.Extensive experience in managing burn injuries and performing reconstructive surgeries for burn patients.
- Proficiency in various techniques of burn wound management, including skin grafting, flap reconstruction, and scar revision.
- Ability to assess and address both functional and aesthetic concerns in burn survivors.
- Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care for burn patients, including burn care specialists, nurses, and therapists.
- Adherence to evidence-based practices and guidelines for burn injury management and plastic surgery.
- Knowledge of infection control measures and wound care protocols specific to burn patients.
- Excellent communication skills for patient consultation, education, and collaboration with colleagues.
- Dedication to continuous professional development and staying updated on advancements in burn care and plastic surgery techniques.
