As our Specialist Logistics Performance, you will build the smoothest order journey in the Sultanate of Oman! You will be managing, owning, and improving the logistics performance of all cities across the country. The core focal point of all stakeholders related to various service levels, analysing compliance, finding performance gaps, staffing adjustments, forecasting, rider payment structure, optimization and ensuring to execute a trackable plan based on Root-Cause-Analysis that will enable you to fill the performance related gaps.
You will also support in positioning talabat as a platform of choice for our entire ecosystem and contribute to deliver a seamless experience during Order Placement upon Successfully delivered. Lastly, you will develop innovative improvement action plans driven by feedback of riders, customers, and partners to make a difference to our ecosystem lives!
What's On Your Plate?
Reporting and monitoring of KPIs and performance SLAs
Identify and solve logistics performance related problems by analyzing and deriving insights from large, complex sets of data
Responsible for country compliance with OD processes and tools (e.g staffing, forecasting, etc.)
Providing all data needed for performance improvement on country level and acting as a consultant for the Logistics Performance Function.
Leading supervisors/trainers related to logistics performance KPIs, and effective training the team to deliver the results intended.
Work alongside country sales and marketing teams on actions and activities to drive performance forward for own delivery
Optimize country infrastructure, event thresholds, provide input in Rider Payment structure, and provide input to pricing strategy of delivery fees from logistics perspective to improve overall performance
Provide weekly updates to country management on projects & performance progress.
Support other stakeholders when required or as requested from Line Manager.
What Did We Order?
Bachelor's Degree in any engineering or logistics management with data analytic skills.
Fluency in English and Arabic.
Experience from 2+ years preferably in the food tech industry or last-mile industry.
Adaptive to multiple systems, and agility in learning new systems or developing new feature requests.
Prior experience in analysing big data for a similar application.
Previous experience in a start-up environment or in a technology company ideal but not necessary
Thinking outside of the box to predict and prevent the upcoming issues
